Shane Coen Alspaugh, age 52, of East Canton, passed away Saturday October 2nd, 2021. Shane’s sudden passing was after a beautiful day of riding with his family in West Virginia. He had a great last day here on earth filled with fun, lots of laughs, and spending time with loved ones. Shane fought cancer hard for 3 long years and is finally no longer in pain.
There were never any strangers when Shane was around. He was always the light of the party. He loved making everyone laugh and lived life to the fullest. Shane never gave up no matter how terrible he felt, he still showed up and tried. Shane took a lot of pride in painting cars his entire life. He loved fishing, hunting, and riding in his free time.
Shane is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernie Shoff; his son, Zaine Alspaugh; and his nephew, Kyle Alspaugh.
Shane will be greatly missed by his widow, Kristina; minor children, Tori and Tana; grandmother, Maxine Shoff; mother, Marge (Darrell) Rich; father, Bill (Patty); brother, Shawn (Kathy); sister, Kim; son, Tyler (Justice); daughter, Taylor (Hayden); grandchildren, Trenton, Weston, Karmen, and Kamden; mother-in-law, Brenda (Bob); brother-in-law, Larry (Christy); sister-in-law, Cynthia (Jake); and sister-in-law, Kayla (Dan).
Services will be Thursday 5-7pm at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville, Ohio. Graveside burial services will be Friday at 11am at St. Louis cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to gather at his residence after. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Paquelet-Falk.
