Robert Dean Saunier, age 81 of Homeworth and formerly of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 with his loving family by his side.
Bob was born December 22, 1936 in Cleveland and was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin DeChellis and his sisters Barb May, Judy Altman and his brother Gary Paulin.
He was employed by Pennsylvania Railroad, Midway Marine and was the owner of Bob’s Mower and Custom Canvas. Bob was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church where he enjoyed working on the bingo committee with his friends. He enjoyed restoring and showing his 1929 Model A Ford with the Penn-Ohio Model A Club and enjoyed spending time with his very loving and devoted wife, Michalene A. (Fedor) at garage sales and flea markets.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his daughters Michele Saunier, Rhonda (Tim) Keiser, and Christine (Mark) Thomas; grandchildren Renae, Robby, Dave, Derek, Lindsay, Kellie, Stephanie, Valerie, Andrea, and Nick; many great grandchildren with another to arrive soon. Brother Donald (Marsha) Paulin and his sisters Peggy (Mike) Scullion and Patty (Tom) Hall and brother-in-law, Dave Altman.
Bob will also be greatly missed by his cat, Tanner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 31 at 10:30am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville, Ohio with the Rev. Fr. Robert Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home on Monday, July 30 from 5pm-7pm.
