Rita I. (Hill) Kuhn

Rita I. (Hill) Kuhn, age 94, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in St. Joseph Senior Living of Louisville following an extended illness.
Rita was born September 19, 1924 in Fulda, Ohio to the late Beda and Rose (Brahler) Hill. Rita was a retired nurse’s aide at Mercy Medical Center. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, serving on the Alter and Rosary Society, the Columbus Women’s Club, the FOE Women’s Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at St. Joseph Senior Living. She loved quilting, traveling, gardening, playing cards, cooking and baking for family gatherings.
Rita is survived by two sons, James “John” (Pam) and Jeffrey Kuhn, a daughter, Marcia Knouff, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mildred Lori.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James J. Kuhn, Sr., son, Kenneth Kuhn, son-in-law, William Knouff, three brothers and five sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Condolences can be shared with the family online at www.paqueletfalk.com.
