Richard E. Sluss passed away Friday, March 18

, 2022 at the age of 87. He was born on March 27, 1934 at the family home in Louisville to the late Ward and Louise Sluss. He was the youngest of 10 children. He graduated from Louisville High School and served in the US Army after the Korean conflict for peacekeeping duty. Richard worked as a brick mason for the Brunner Brothers and his many jobs can be seen all around Louisville. He enjoyed gardening, walking, the Cleveland Sport teams and the Leopards. He was a lifelong member of Paradise UCC.
In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his siblings, Thelma, Ruth, Eunice, William, James, Bernard, John, Eleanor and Norma.
Richard loved his nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful uncle, who was loved in return. He will always be our Uncle Dick.
A private service is planned.
