Paul “Ed” Gulling, age 84, of Alliance, Ohio, our father grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away Saturday, February 26

, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital following a brief illness. Ed was born on May 5
th
, 1937, in Maximo Twp., to the late Harry and Marie Gulling. A graduate of Louisville High School class of 1955, Ed was a proud veteran of the US Army and served the country from 1960 to 1962. Ed was retired from Parker Fabrication in Akron, Ohio, in 2002.
Besides his parents, Ed is preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn and brothers, Francis, Joseph, Louis and James.
Survivors include his beloved wife whom he married on October 5

, 1963, Dianna Gulling of the home; sons, Darryl (Amy) Gulling of Lancaster, OH, Richard (Karla) Gulling of Cheney, WA, Patrick (Karen) Gulling of Poland, OH, and Thomas (Jill) Gulling of Newton Falls, OH; grandchildren, Brooke, Brent, Cassandra, Aaron, Justin, Brittany, Kimberly, Kyle, Ashley, Allison, and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Riley, and Skylar; two sisters, Barbara (Joe) Carroll, and Carol Shepherd.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 2
rd
, 2022 at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church of Maximo (12055 Easton St. NE, Maximo, Ohio 44650) with Rev. Fr. G. David Weikart as celebrant. Calling hours will be one prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. in the church. Memorial donations may be made in Ed’s name to the St. Joseph Church of Maximo.
